A new roof installation on an Auburn, MA home

The homeowners main concern was solving their energy loss problem before having the siding replaced. As a Mass Save contractor we were able to help satisfy both needs. A prior contractor installed insulation but the pressure was too high and the homeowner’s walls actually caved in! They were very nervous about having the rest of the insulation done. However, when we were hired we went over the complete job and made sure the structure of the wall was not in any danger before beginning any work. As the insulation was being blown into the walls we were very careful with the pressure and always had a foreman on the inside to continue to check for any signs of weakness in the walls.

After the insulation was completed we began to strip the existing siding and install a house wrap (vapor barrier). We wrapped the windows and all of the trim with white aluminum coil. On the front of the home we installed Mastic Cedar Discovery in Misty Shadow. On the sides and back of the home we installed Mastic Carvedwood in Misty Shadow. The homeowner’s love the new color and have noticed significant improvement with the added insulation.
